Commission

For details on how to formalize a commission, below is the process through which I take my clients:

1. An initial contact takes place via the phone or e-mail.
2. Details are gathered regarding the client's request and expectations, space requirements, environment, colors, and a host of other considerations.
   
   This meeting may happen over the phone or through a personal meeting at my studio or the client's home.
3. Using the information gathered, I create multiple drawings, often do a sample tile or mosaic board, and compile a cost estimate. My fees generally run from $150-$300 per square foot for custom murals and mosaics.Since each job is unique, I refrain from making a firm quote until all options have been considered and a drawing has been made.
4. Upon approval of the drawing and estimate, a 30% deposit is requested.
5. Production begins and generally, commissions are completed within 4-6 weeks of approval of drawings.
